Cloud City Farm & Market

The goal of the Cloud City Farm is to address healthy food access challenges in Lake County and inspire stewardship of our natural resources through local food production, educational opportunities, and community engagement.

At Cloud City Farm, we don’t just grow food - we share food with our community in many ways, including our weekly farm markets. These markets feature fresh, locally grown food at donation-based “pay what you can” prices to ensure that tasty, healthy food is accessible to everyone.

The Farm Market is currently closed for the season but will reopen June 5th with the following schedule

  • Thursdays — 4-7pm — Regular Market

  • Fridays — 9am-4pm — Self-Serve Hours (unstaffed)

  • At Cloud City Farm — 440 McWethy Drive across from the Community Field

Community Compost

Cloud City Community Garden

Cloud City Community Garden was created with the intention to build community in Lake County through the growing of food. All Lake County community members and Individuals of all ages, backgrounds, etc. are encouraged to come together in the spirit of community to enjoy the community garden, whether that entails gardening, resting on a shaded bench or meeting with friends and neighbors in the garden.

Because we have limited community garden plots, available plots will be assigned via a random lottery. Please fill out this form by April 1st to enter the lottery for a plot at Cloud City Community Garden for the 2025 season.

Community gardeners are expected to help at the spring and fall community garden volunteer days, or volunteer 5 hours throughout the growing season. The plot fee is a suggested donation of $30 to help support garden operations.

C4 is proud to offer a free residential Community Compost program at Cloud City Farm! Learn more about composting or sign up today.

Cloud City Farm offers a variety of hands-on youth education throughout the year, including school-based education programs for K-12 students as well as career and community education programs for high schoolers and recent grads.

Contact ash@c4leadville.org for more information about how C4’s Education Team can support your work with Lake County youth.

Applications are due by April 1st and lottery winners will be announced by mid-April. If you have questions about the community garden please email Cloud City Farm Director Sarah@c4leadville.org.
